This one's a personal favorite. The idea is we could have some collection boxes for unopened toys, and maybe even get some military bronies to help staff it. There's likely marine bronies who would like to help with this, I think. I just like the idea of collecting toys and/or funds to help out kids who need it most. As I said before, just an idea! they have a local Seattle office, as well, so its easily doable.

Hmmm, would this be possible as a low planner style setup, with a collection bin, and maybe a vehicle or two [or twenty depending on circumstances :? ] to ship anything collected over to TFT? Nothing official, but maybe we could have this with other charities as a low upkeep type collection system... or something... ok maybe almost 2 in the morning isn't good reply time after all.
I'm sure someone can sort out what I mean and place it in legible text.

It makes sense to me; now, let's see if I can paraphrase to prove understanding...

Basically, have collection bins and other receptacles labeled with the relevant charity name(s), and probably some info about the charity. Then, people can donate as they see fit, and the donations get forwarded to the relevant charity.

How accurate was that?

If we are still doing this this year I would volunteer to staff it. I have a few Army battle buddies who could also staff as well.
