Hello, I am Blobbus, the forum admin and webdeveloper. Though we have done our best to ensure that the registration system will work as smooth as possible, this is the first time it has been deployed in the field and there will likely be some issues with it that will pop up that did not show up in our testing of it. We will do our best to resolve any issues that occur as quickly as we can.

In order to best help with any issues arising with our registration system, please contact me either through forum messages or the registration@everfreenw.com email address and supply the following information:

Your account name, unless you are having issues with registration that prevent you from having one.

A detailed explanation of the issue, containing as much information as you can possibly give about both it and the steps you took before it occurred.

The name and version number of your browser as shown in the About -> Help menu or its equivalent, as this may sometimes be related.

Additionally, though it likely goes without saying, if you make a payment through paypal and the site does not reflect this, do not attempt to pay for the badges a second time. Instead, contact us through the forum or E-Mail address should this occur.

The autofill issue with the forum's username and password populating to the registration system has been temporarily solved by disabling autofill on the login form for registration. The forum's autofill itself remains unchanged, only the login form for the registration system has been effected.

Due to the unstandardized nature of autofill and the aggressive-yet-naive nature of the methods autofill typically uses to determine what fields to populate with what data, it has proven to be not easily possible to come up with a cross-browser method to make the autofill for each of the various browsers and toolbars that implement autofill able to know the difference between the forum and the registration system. Thus, for the short-term, autofill on the registration form has been disabled, and in the long term, we plan to look into integrating the login between the registration system and the forum so that there's less trouble and autofill will no longer have to worry about confusing the two.

So basically, registration to the con and the forums are separate accounts, but you want to combine them so you don't have to make multiple accounts? Is that what you meant in general?
EDIT----------
oh wait I think I got it, it takes the info from both Registration AND the forum accounts, which may be different, and causes problems with said auto fill, and thats why you've disabled it. So people can actually log in right the first time, every time. yeah 230 in the morning is probably not a good time to try to think.

Basically, when people had an account on the forum and stored autofill for it, autofill tends to assume that a site will have only one user/password system and, as such, shoves the forum user/pass into the registration login form, which would not work as the registration system is completely independent of the forum system. Similarly, if people got a registration account first, then went to the forum, it would be a similar scenario.

My solution would be to make it so that the forum and the registration both check accounts from the same source, since I can't change how autofill works.

The bug that was preventing a number of users from logging in a second time after leaving the site has been solved. Everyone who was having issues with it before should attempt to sign in and ensure that they have access to their account. Anyone who still has issues logging in should contact me by email at registration@everfreenw.com or by forum messaging. I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.

A javascript bug preventing a few users from creating badges has been resolved. This bug mostly affected IE8 users.

Also, a minor bug that was effecting a mostly unimportant redundant logging function, but was also throwing a PHP error message, was solved as well.

These two bugs represent the last of the four reported bugs we've had since launch. Though I hope we got them all, keep an eye out for anything behaving oddly, or if you have suggestions for ways we can improve the registration interface, E-Mail me at registration@everfreenw.com or use forum messaging, as I want to be able to provide the best registration experience possible. :)

Blobbus, This is Josh. I recently sent the emails about being unable to register. Since I was able to get to the forum, I thought it would be easier for me troubleshoot through here.

The submit button for the registration form seems to be the only item I have a problem with. Like I said in my e-mail, I am playing around with addons and searching for similar problems. I am still looking around for solutions. I sent some additional information in the e-mail.

I'm not speaking for Admin, but have you tried using a different computer to register?

No, I don't really have access to another computer. I did receive an e-mail from blobbus saying he had he same problem with registration on IE9. I'm just waiting it out now to see if it's really me or the site.

Then try using a different web browser.
If it works, then the problem could be narrowed down to either add-on conflicts or browser incompatibilities.
