I figured out the problem you've been having. The issue involves a specific CSS property that IE and Opera do not support. I am implementing a fix for the IE variant of the bug and this should be up some time tomorrow if all goes well. Unfortunately, I am still looking for a fix for Opera's variant of the bug, as it does not have a fallback that can be used like IE has. The browser switch will work as a stopgap, as long as you don't pick another IE, or Opera as your replacement for now.

No problem Noble Brony.

May i suggest Firefox 3.6?
It may not be the most secure browser version, but it doesn't have any of the problems the newer browser sometimes have.

I believe I have resolved the bug we've been discussing. The earlier IE-specific fix didn't pan out, but in its wake I found information that led me to develop a method using JavaScript to fix it for all browsers that I can test with. Basically, the problem was that the poison-joke flowers at the bottom of the screen are a transparent PNG that hovers "above" the rest of the page. Most common browsers support the "pointer-events: none;" CSS property on objects such as these, which allows click events to go through the image, however IE9 and Opera both did not have this feature. The issue has been resolved for the browsers that don't support "pointer-events: none;" by having the object also set up so that, when clicked, it directly forwards the click event to items underneath it instead, resolving the issue on all browsers that I've tested it on including IE9 and Opera.

How so? I knew that IE has had problems with that for a while. I just didn't think of that to begin with.

Specifically, IE6 has had the most problems, but has dropped in usage to the point where web developers can feasibly stop caring about its existence except in specialty cases. We made the specific choice to not bother with IE6 on the grounds that it's a headache to deal with and even Microsoft is saying that it needs to go away. http://www.ie6countdown.com/

IE7 was a little bit better, but still had some major issues. By IE8 they started getting their act in gear and making large strides towards being standards compliant. With IE9, it appears that they've finally made it to where it can be considered standards compliant. Though IE9 does still appear to be a little behind, it's no longer the problem that it once was, and hopefully, when IE 6/7/8 roll off of the popularity lists, we'll have a much more friendly web environment for coding in in the future.

I was trying to register, the entire website just exploded on my end. Every time I try to access anything outside the forums, I get this:
Code:
Warning: include_once(template/sitelib.php) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /homepages/34/d391678764/htdocs/index.php on line 1

Warning: include_once() [function.include]: Failed opening 'template/sitelib.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php5') in /homepages/34/d391678764/htdocs/index.php on line 1

Fatal error: Call to undefined function headtail() in /homepages/34/d391678764/htdocs/index.php on line 8

Is this caused by too much traffic? Is anyone else getting this? What do?

*EDIT* Got through, but now it says registration's closed. Is this true? Do I have anything/one to blame but myself?
