Yes, you can upload publicaly. No, you don't have to attend. Yes, there's still time to enter. Don't worry if you sent in your entry a long time ago, it's still on the list.

Just curious, what sort of prizes would we get if we were to win/get a runner up position?

Oh thank you so much! I had some problems when I uploaded mine because the day after uploading it someone else made a pony music video to the exact same song & not only that but it was the same version of the song too & there was a little this & that going on about it but in the end I was over things & wished I could hug the person who made the other music video.
I'm so glad now that I don't have to change it to private. Again thank you!

Are they all going to be accepted if they qualify? If not then how will we know they will be at the panel for voting if our PMV is accepted? Is there any kind of reply system for the emails on this competition to know that you have received it or approved because I have submitted three animated PMV's of varied lengths and received no reply. Just making sure it was never lost or to clear any questions anybody else may eventually have.

Looking over these rules and I really want to touch bases with who is running this for next year to better flesh these out, because some of them are going to present a nightmare for you guys

This disgruntled attendee is severely disappointed that the panelist in charge did not show up for the PMV presentation.
I have already made plans to leave Seattle and to not attend the final day of EFNW for familial reasons, and the PMV panel was the reason why I wanted to go to EFNW.
While I’ve enjoyed the rest of the panels at EFNW, the cancellation of the presentation has soured my entire experience at EFNW, and it has left a strong-but-biased negative feeling towards the convention in general.
Personally, one convention does not make up for 250 hours invested in an animation that has lost its main purpose.
I am aware that my submission may not even be considered ‘good’. What matters to me is that a group of people have personally seen it at an event.
I would feel devastated if the PMV panel was held defacto on the final day, since I won’t be there to view it.

This is the personal opinion of one individual. Don’t let it spoil your experience at the convention.

So I was pretty disappointed that the PMV contest panel didn't end up happening. However, I was told all submissions had been received and judged and that at some point winners would be announced and a compilation would be posted somewhere (EQD?). It's been a few weeks now and I was wondering what the status of that was. Anywhere we can at least see what was entered? This contest was something like 80% of the reason I managed to drag myself so far to Seattle.
