Can you guys find someone to help me with my papercraft panel? I'm afraid I'll need a assistant to help others. They would need to put it together beforehand so they know how to. It's going to be taking place afternoon on Friday.

There has been much discussion on this thread about about paying for passes and I'd just like to leave my comments. I've worked 2-6 conventions per year around the US every year since 2001. The best method I've seen for staff badges at non-profit shows is for everyone to have to pay the first time they volunteer (but possibly at a discounted rate). Once you volunteer enough hours for the current show, you get a free pass to be used for the next show (or a later year if you can't come next year for some reason). Basically everyone has to be invested in the show to work for the show; this subtly increases team cohesiveness.

I was wondering do you need First Aid at all? I am going to go through training for First Aid AED and CPR since it always comes in handy! Just let me know if you need the help in that department!

Apply for that. If not I should be able to get in for Security. First Aid is a part of security.

Um hii.. I sent in an application for staff and got an answer back. However I forgot to add in that I am out of state and had someone buy my badge already as well. Does that still work out or would it be switched to that 'different procedure for staff,' ?
