If its at all possible to secure a room for the musicians to jam (not perform) and just have fun that would be great.

Of course, we would have to have some sound equipment and what not. However Im sure that we can come up with something. It would be epic if we had a pony jazz band there.

Room for ongoing jam sessions: awesome idea.

Recording and/or livestreaming the jam sessions: extra awesome?

Yeah I have an Apogee Duet if we want to record some things live. But it depends on who is willing to record everyone and who will be giving the recordings to the artist's. Also I doubt it would be open 24/7 as it would be a bit obnoxious to be jamming at 3am.

All you would really need equipment wise is a MIDI keyboard so that people can plug in there laptops and jam and a guitar amp, maybe a drum kit if were going to be doing this super fancy. Some LED lighting fixtures for some mood lighting couldn't hurt either. Im just throwing out ideas right now.

I'd be in there nonstop, although I mainly do Death Metal, Jazz is actually really similar in technique. I could bring my guitar and a smaller amp.

I like this idea.

We should also have a room for jam of the edible variety.
