I was just wondering what the difference was between the name options. Like Real and Fan etc. Thanks!

My mom said that she already bought mine. She didn't know what the fan name was so she jut put my name on it.

I presume, if this is like all the (hundreds of) other conventions I've attended, that a 'fan name' is the name you go by in the community, or whatever title you'd like to put on your badge, whereas your name is, well, your name.

For example, we'll go with me:

Fan Name: The Neutral Underlord
Name: Jordan XXXXXX

Ah I think I get it although no matter where I am or whatever username I have I always just have people call me by my name. Alright except for one area where they call me SND but I don't mind that too much. I'm not known at all here really so the whole fan name thing doesn't apply to me that much. If you see a girl named Abby dressed up as Fluttershy with her two friends Hannah & Stephanie who are Pinkie Pie & Rarity yeah that's me with my friends. Since many of us will be in the same hotel also except my friends & I to act like total idiots running around the hotel pretending the doctor is on some sort of mission there. We did that at the last convention we went to.

Or rather, like me:
Fan name: Jay6
Real name: Justin
