I agree with the first part. It would also save us a massive amount of trouble with handwriting and trying to collect a bunch of paper.

In addition, we could announce the email at the start of the contest, as a possible way to limit the number of people involved to the room itself. That might allow for digital copies while pulling back on the number of things to review.

If it's not too late to add an idea, have you considered making this an Iron Chef-style event, with an Ingredient of the Day? For example, right before everyone is set to writing, you reveal that all fics must... something. Be set in Fillydelphia, for example, or feature Spike, or involve the Diamond Dogs, or something else equally interesting. What say you?

I've run Iron Author style events across multiple cons before, and this works out well when it's done. I'm still coordinating, but something like this is very likely to show up in the event! =n.n=

Do the stories need to be PG, going with the con? I assume so, but seeing as they're not for public consumption, necessarily, we might be able to bump it to PG-13 for a Dark story or something ridiculous. Just as a point of clarity.

Requiem, entries will need to be PG, yes; winners will be read aloud on Sunday, which means we need to match the con guidelines.

Tyler, you just need to show up to the event space at the time of the event.
