I was going to try and get a room at the hotel where the convention is, but was unable to. If I'm unable to share with someone I might just find a nearby bargain hotel to stay at, because let's face it I'm not exactly rich, but sharing the cost of a room would mean a nicer hotel at a decent price. Plus, I'd have people to hang out with during the convention since I have no friends who are going.
I'm a female (so if possible I'd prefer to share with other female bronies - pegasisters if you must but if there's a guy who really needs a room I'm not opposed to sharing with a guy) - 30 years old. Shy at first, but once you get to know me I'm a lot like Pinkie Pie. I'm a very honest and trustworthy person and I don't snore (that I know of).

So, if anyone has room for one more, please let me know the details and hopefully it'll work out. Even if you've not booked a room yet but you're looking at going alone, I can book at Marriott and we'll work something out about splitting the cost (because frankly the bargain hotel nearby didn't get good reviews but that's where I'm looking at staying if I don't find someone to share with).

I usually offer my room up to people at convention, to both help out those unable to get a room on their own and to cut down on my own cost. Since I was only able to get a single king room, I have been a little iffy about doing this.

Unfortunately, I have no friends who are going. If you're uncomfortable offering your room, that's fine - I understand that - but maybe if I can't find anybody and get in a pinch, that might be an option.

At least it is nice to see someone else in the 30+ plus club that will be there. Though I am quite getting use to seeing younger folks at conventions.

Yeah, I was honestly worried I'd be one of the only 30+ there too but it sounds like more are going which is awesome. Though I've recently been carded for an R-rated movie, so I don't look 30 - and sometimes don't act like it either - but my birth certificate says I am.
