New Player Events

New to cardboard ponies? Check out our Learn to Play events for both MLP:CCG and Kayou TCG throughout the weekend! No prior gaming experience needed and it only takes about 20 minutes to learn the basics of the game. Have a friend? Learn to play together! Foals welcome, but age 6+ recommended.

Kayou TCG Tournament

Bring your own constructed deck and join us for one of the first Kayou Trading Card Game tournaments in the US! Note that your deck may only use cards from the English releases.

MLP:CCG Core Pauper Tournament

No rares? No problem! This is a shorter event where only common, uncommon and fixed card rarities are allowed, perfect for newer players or players looking for more relaxed games.

MLP:CCG Cube Draft

The ever-popular Cube Draft pioneered (and provided!) by I8Pages! Pick cards from hoof-curated packs for an exquisite experience.

MLP:CCG Harmony Tournament

Yearning to use those old and powerful cards? Look no further than this event where you’ll get to play with all the fun toys from over 10 years of cardboard ponies!

For a real challenge, compete in the Core Championships, hosted by Commentary is Magic. The Core format for this event uses only print & play cards, so it’s never been easier to join! Prizes and promos will be plentiful!

Core Championship Tournament

The Core Championship is a key point in the competitive season: a Core-format tournament featuring high level play of the game, exclusive promos and lots of prizes, especially for the top cut, where the stakes get even higher in the elimination rounds!
