Vendor Guidelines
We here at Everfree NW recognize that artistic expression comes in all shapes and forms. However, we have a strict con-wide adherence to a "PG" limit on any activities, panels and works presented on con grounds.
Prohibited content includes but is not limited to: excessive violence and gore, sexual content, risque or "cheesecake" imagery (overly suggestive pin-ups), foul language, depictions of drug usage, overt depictions of alcohol usage (this will be taken on a case-by-case basis, but generally, a pony drinking "juice" from a wine glass is more acceptable than a pony chugging Jack.) Generally, if you wouldn't see it in a cartoon marketed towards children on standard cable in the daytime, don't do it. We will be happy to look over any artwork that you feel may be risky, and give you a yea or neigh on whether it's something you can sell. DIRECT AND WILLFUL VIOLATIONS OF THESE GUIDELINES WILL RESULT IN A WARNING. FURTHER VIOLATIONS WILL RESULT IN THE IMMEDIATE SHUT-DOWN OF YOUR TABLE.
Please use your best judgment and discretion when deciding what to offer at your table, and don't hesitate to email us at vendors@everfreenw.com with any questions or concerns.
In addition, we would also ask that material sold either be original work, falling under the doctrine of Fair Use, or merchandise which has properly been licensed by its original copyright holder. Respect for intellectual property law is essential for the long-term success of our convention.
Tax Law Compliance
The State of Washington requires that anyone engaging in commerce at our event either possess a Permanent Business License or a Temporary Business Certificate, which can be obtained free Here. All Vendors are responsible for collecting and reporting the appropriate state sales taxes.
