Everfree Northwest is an annual, three day event dedicated to celebrating the hit television show, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Since its debut in the Autumn of 2010, My Little Pony has earned itself dedicated fans of all ages. Now in its third year, Everfree Northwest is more than just a convention. It is a community of friends and volunteers who have come from all walks of life and corners of the continent. Everfree Northwest gives the fan community a memorable time and space to make friends, make memories, and to celebrate the media phenomenon that brings them together.
Our event includes a rich schedule of programming that includes dances, costume contests, art, live music, games, and more! Each year we feature special guests of voice talent and production staff, who have given their talents to make My Little Pony so special, for special panels and autograph signings. Don't forget to visit our Vendor's Hall, where you can purchase the talented work of fan art, crafts, and music as well as toys, comic books, and more. As Everfree Northwest brings together fans of all ages, our event is family-friendly and all content and programming is appropriate for kids aged 1 to 100. Speaking of kids, all kids 12 and under attend Everfree Northwest for free with a paying adult!

Everfree Northwest would like to remind everyone that our early badge pickup for pre-registered attendees on Thursday July 3rd will be from 3pm to 8pm Pacific. Only those who have already pre-registered for the convention will be able to pick up their badges on Thursday.
Registration will open each day of the convention at 8am and will continue until 8pm on Friday and Saturday and until 4pm on Sunday.
Are you preparing for the Everfree Northwest Costume Contest? Taking part in the traditional Con Crunch? We wish you luck that you finish your costume on time and we can’t wait to see you strut your stuff on stage! But we’re sure you want some more details. To get into the Everfree Northwest Costume Contest we will need you to register! Registration for the costume contest will be in the same area as Badge Registration. We will have a staff pony there waiting to sign you up for the contest so it’ll be easy to find! From there you will choose which category depending on your age: Foal for the little ones 13 and under, and Pony for the older ones 14 and up!
Costume Contest Registration will be during regular Badge Registration hours (including Pre-Registration on Thursday!) but it will end 2 and a half hours before the Costume Contest. (10:30am on Saturday) so get registered quickly!
Not quite sure what to prepare for on stage? Both categories will have 4 winners! Remember that the costume isn’t necessarily everything, it’s also your stage presence!

Be sure to join us for the Costume Photoshoot in the Courtyard on Friday @ 1pm (after the Opening Ceremonies), Saturday @ 3:15pm (right after the Costume Contest!), and Sunday @ 11am! That’s right! We have a Costume Photoshoot EVERYDAY for those of you who like to wear more than one costume!

From coloring pages, drawing and the Canterlot box fort to drawing classes and puppet making, come join us for some creative fun for all ages. Also featuring facepainting in the morning on Saturday and Sunday!
How to Draw Ponies (Beginner and Advanced)
This event was so popular last year that we’ve decided to hold it again– twice! Whether you’re just starting out or are an experienced professional who wants to refine your skills, we have the panel for you. Hosted by members of the subreddit r/mlpdrawingschool, multiple artists will be on hoof to provide personalized feedback and personal instruction.
Meet the Artists
Do you like to draw ponies? Do you want to meet other artists who like to draw ponies, too? If so, come meet a bunch of your fellow and favorite pony artists in this informal get-together. Draw things! Talk awkwardly at each other! There will be cake*! (*Note: Cake may be a lie.)
From Script to Screen
The Writers in Harmony crew takes you on a journey through the process of creating an animation covering everything from screenwriting, voice acting, music and animation, with the showing of two brand new works. Featuring works from Last Stand of Harmony and Pika Petey.
Ponies and Pantones: The Art and Design of Friendship is Magic
The world of Equestria is a colorful and magical place and that’s no accident! Everything from the shapes of the clouds, colors of background ponies, and the layout of Ponyville have a reason and artistic meaning. Hosted by professional graphic designer and fanartist KefkaFloyd, you’ll learn the hows and whys for the art direction of the show, toy packaging, and comics and how it influences viewers of all ages. You’ll also learn how to improve your own art and design with discussions on composition, color theory, and typography.
Pony Video and PMV Contest
Saturday mornings just would not be complete without cold cereal and cartoons. Come join us while we watch a bunch of pony music videos and other fan-created animation. After watching a bunch of great fan-made PMVs and Pony Videos, we also be showing the entries for and giving out prizes to the winners of the Everfree Northwest 2014 animation contest!
