What is Everfree Northwest?

Everfree Northwest is an annual, three day event dedicated to celebrating the hit television show, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Since its debut in the Autumn of 2010, My Little Pony has earned itself dedicated fans of all ages. Now in its third year, Everfree Northwest is more than just a convention. It is a community of friends and volunteers who have come from all walks of life and corners of the continent. Everfree Northwest gives the fan community a memorable time and space to make friends, make memories, and to celebrate the media phenomenon that brings them together.

Our event includes a rich schedule of programming that includes dances, costume contests, art, live music, games, and more! Each year we feature special guests of voice talent and production staff, who have given their talents to make My Little Pony so special, for special panels and autograph signings. Don't forget to visit our Vendor's Hall, where you can purchase the talented work of fan art, crafts, and music as well as toys, comic books, and more. As Everfree Northwest brings together fans of all ages, our event is family-friendly and all content and programming is appropriate for kids aged 1 to 100. Speaking of kids, all kids 12 and under attend Everfree Northwest for free with a paying adult!

Stable-Tec Studios Coming to Everfree Northwest

Grab your PipBuck and get ready for adventure, the creative minds behind of the Fallout Equestria animation project, Stable-Tec Studios, are coming to Everfree Northwest! EFNW will be the studio’s first ever convention appearance, showcasing in the Crystal Ballroom on July 4th at 2:30 pm Pacific. Don’t miss out on seeing this fantastic team! If you want to get involved with Stable-Tec Studios, there are a few positions that are currently open such as storyboard artist, animators (special effects, character, and storyboard animatics), background artist, and concept artist. EFNW Events Schedule Now Live

Hello Everypony!  This is Maestro Scherzo, and our events staff has exciting news for attendees of Everfree Northwest 2014: The Weekend Schedule of Events is now live!

This year we received over 100 panel submissions and have been working diligently to develop a diverse and high-quality array of events for guests to choose from!  In addition, we have rooms solely dedicated to Tabletop Gaming, Electronic Gaming, and Arts and Crafts this year if you need a place to relax and be creative or competitive!

What can you look forward to this year in our programming?  Well….*deep breath*….There will be photoshoots and fanfiction meetups, hilarious panels featuring our Guests of Honor, gaming tournaments of all types throughout the weekend, a Cosplay Contest, a Silent Auction and Live Charity Auction, kid-friendly events such as the Foal Dance and Face Painting, the always epic music event called PONYSTOCK, the emotional and uplifting Dear Princess panel, sing-alongs, PMV displays, attendee participation panels like Whose Line is it Anypony and Equestrian Idol….*exhales*……did I mention an autograph session with Great and Honorable Spike the Brave and Glorious and his friends Gilda the Gryphon, Bulk Biceps, and Sunset Shimmer?  Whew.

So you might be thinking to yourself, “Wow, Everfree Events Staff, that’s just so much to do?  Where should I start?”  Well, don’t worry!  Our friendly ponies have developed a mini-series “Journey to Everfree Northwest” where they help guide you through the weekend’s events.  Spoiler alert:  Twilight has a checklist, and it’s quite lengthy.

EFNW Cosplay Track Announcement

Calling all cosplayers, photographers, seamstresses, plush makers, and friends! This year at Everfree Northwest we are pleased to offer several panels and events just for you! Come show off your cosplays at our costume contest and photoshoots, take part in a crash-course panel on cosplay creation, create a cosplay from scratch in our Iron Cosplay competition, learn about plush design, and learn what would ponies do (WWPD) with Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Rarity! EFNW Deadlines: Pre-reg and Charity Donations (June 15), Volunteering (June 20th), and PMV/Pony Video Contest (June 27th)

Everfree Northwest is in less than three weeks and the closer we get the more excited we’re becoming! We can’t wait for you all to join us in Seattle, WA over the July 4th weekend!

Over the next two weeks we will be hitting some deadlines which are listed below:

Pre-registration – June 15th

EFNW’s pre-registration was extended by an extra two days, but the new cut-off of June 15th is only a day away! Patron and Sponsor badges are still available, but only by pre-registering as they will not be available at the door. If you would like to upgrade your badge you can easily do so by going through the registration process and selecting the Sponsor badge, and you’ll only be charged the difference. Go to everfreenw.com/register/kiosk/web_reg to get your ticket now!

Charity Donations – June 15th

We are still accepting donations to the Everfree Northwest Charity Auction to benefit Seattle Children’s Hospital, but the deadline to fill out a donation form is tomorrow. Last year we raised over $21,000 for charity and we hope to raise even more this year. If you wish to donate go to everfreenw.com/charity and fill out the donation form. At-con donations will still be accepted for our “Last Roundup” portion of the Charity Auction.

Volunteering – June 20th

If you are interested in volunteering for Everfree Northwest and being a part of our convention family, you have until June 20th to do so. Volunteers receive a free attendee badge. To see what positions are still available and to fill out our volunteer application, go to everfreenw.com/volunteer

PMV/Pony video Contest – June 27th

There are less than two weeks left to enter our PMV and Pony Video Contest! Any PMV or Pony Video published on or after April 15th are eligible for this contest. Winners will be announced and played during our Cereal and Toons event. Contest details and our contest submission form can be found at everfreenw.com/pmvcontest. We are also in need of more submissions for our Pony Video category. Remember, you can submit two PMVs as well as two Pony Videos for a total of four contest entries.
