What is Everfree Northwest?

Everfree Northwest is an annual, three day event dedicated to celebrating the hit television show, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Since its debut in the Autumn of 2010, My Little Pony has earned itself dedicated fans of all ages. Now in its third year, Everfree Northwest is more than just a convention. It is a community of friends and volunteers who have come from all walks of life and corners of the continent. Everfree Northwest gives the fan community a memorable time and space to make friends, make memories, and to celebrate the media phenomenon that brings them together.

Our event includes a rich schedule of programming that includes dances, costume contests, art, live music, games, and more! Each year we feature special guests of voice talent and production staff, who have given their talents to make My Little Pony so special, for special panels and autograph signings. Don't forget to visit our Vendor's Hall, where you can purchase the talented work of fan art, crafts, and music as well as toys, comic books, and more. As Everfree Northwest brings together fans of all ages, our event is family-friendly and all content and programming is appropriate for kids aged 1 to 100. Speaking of kids, all kids 12 and under attend Everfree Northwest for free with a paying adult!

Sponsor Badges Re-Opening – Limited Spots Available!

Good news for our EFNW attendees! We have re-opened our Sponsor Badge tier and have a limited quantity of 13 Sponsors Badges now available! These badges, at $350, give you exclusive access and privileges. This special access includes:

EFNW Pre-Con Writing Panel: Character (6/7 @ 7pm)

Everfree Northwest is proud to announce the subject and date of the last of our pre-con writing panel series. This final pre-con panel will focus on character and will be broadcast via the EFNW Presents livestream channel on Saturday, June 7th, at 7PM Pacific Time. Our fantastic panelist lineup will include Pen Stroke, Gary Oak, BronyWriter, and Piquo Pie.

Characters are a crucial elements of any story. Without characters and characterization we wouldn’t have our noble heroes or our dastardly villains. Join us in the livestream and learn how to better craft character that your readers will learn to love (or love to hate!).

EFNW is Seeking New Volunteer Staff!

A new position has opened up in the Tabletop Gaming track called MLP CCG Knowledge Expert. If you love the MLP CCG and happen to be an expert on the game’s rules, we’d be excited for you to join the Everfree team doing something you truly love by helping participants in the MLP CCG stick to the rules! Everfree Northwest Presents Podcast

Everfree Northwest has something exciting and new that anyone with an internet connection can attend! Our new podcast, Everfree Northwest Presents, will be having an interview with Silver Eagle the director of Ponyville Live and We Are Borg the associate director of Ponyville Live! The show will be hosted live this evening (6/1/14) at 10:30pm EDT (7:30pm PDT) on the EFNW Presents livestream channel and on Fillydelphia Radio.

 

What exactly is Everfree Northwest Presents?

EFNW Presents is the premier podcast of the Everfree Northwest convention and is operated year round by people from the Everfree Northwest team. The show is a live podcast that is typically run by our three hosts Pony Tim, Lightsolver, and Dapper Jack. The show is broadcast every other sunday at 10:30pm to 11:30pm EST on our Livestream and on Fillydelphia Radio. Audio and video is broadcast on the Livestream while only audio is broadcast on Fillydelphia Radio. This show is rated PG-13 but we try to more often stay around a PG rating.

The show is split up into 3 main parts: The first part is our “Intro & News” segment where go over Everfree Northwest convention news and news from the fandom. The next part is our “Special/Main Event” segment where we discuss the show’s topic and/or interview special guests. Our last part is our “Random Cool Thing” segment where we each talk about something interesting we found that, pony related or otherwise. We shoot for an hour-long show, although we have been known to run longer if needed.
