Letter to Prospective Donors

Thank you for your interest in providing a donation for the Everfree Northwest 2015 Charity Auction. Before making your donation I’d like to share some additional information regarding the format of the Charity Auction for 2015.

This year the Live Auction will still be preceded by a Silent Auction. The items with the highest bid will go to the Live Auction. Although all items donated will be present in the Silent Auction, it is not guaranteed that the item you donate will make it into the Live Auction. Unfortunately with so many great donations, it is impossible to auction all items in the Live Auction in the time available.

Additionally, your donation may be combined with other items to form a group of items on one bidding ticket. This is to help streamline the bidding process and limit the individual bidding numbers. In 2014 Everfree Northwest had over 100 individual items donated. This amazing display of the community’s giving nature makes grouping necessary in order to keep the auction organized.

All proceeds at this time are intended to go toward Seattle Children’s Hospital. Although there is no foreseeable intention to alter the recipient of the proceeds from the auction, if any change is made to the recipient, you will be contacted by email and given the option to withdraw your donation if desired.

Finally, during the Silent Auction and Live Auction the donors will be credited. Your generosity and support of Everfree Northwest should be acknowledged publicly. If business cards or a digital logo could be made available for your business or organization, it would be very helpful in achieving this goal.

The deadline for donations is May 15th 2015, 2 weeks before the convention. Donations made at the convention itself will also be accepted.

Thank you again for your interest in contributing to the Everfree Northwest 2015 Charity Auction. Please feel free to contact me by email with any additional questions.

Sincerely,
Shannon Iverson
